Summit Interconnect, Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Eagle Electronics, Inc.
Established in 1979 and located in Schaumburg, Illinois, Eagle is one of North America’s leading providers of advanced prototype printed circuit boards.
The acquisition provides a significant and targeted expansion into the high-performance, quick-turn commercial prototyping market and extends Summit’s operational footprint into the Midwest U.S.

I found that CHIPS activities continue, but some corporations have delayed or canceled them because of budget cuts or corporation-specific problems. However, CHIPS integrated circuits—mostly administered by the Department of Commerce—don’t fully drive the electronics interconnection activity being funded by the government.
