Incap India's Holistic Employee Lifecycle Management
December 28, 2023 | IncapEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Incap India is managing the entire employee lifecycle. At the heart of this strategy lies a comprehensive training and development framework that aims to nurture talent, enhance skills, and maintain a motivated workforce.
Incap India’s commitment to employee growth is evident in its diverse training methods. On-the-job training (OJT) takes centre stage, monitored through individual OJT cards and accompanied by level-specific tests. This hands-on approach ensures employees not only grasp theoretical concepts but also gain practical skills important to their roles.
Internal training, facilitated by specialised teams within the organisation, promotes knowledge sharing and builds a sense of unity among team members. To provide a well-rounded learning experience, Incap India collaborates with external trainers, bringing in fresh perspectives and industry best practices.
With a minimum of 24 internal and 12 external training programs annually, Incap India covers a wide range of subjects. From technical skills and ISO management systems to health and safety training, interpersonal skills, POSH training, and organisational behaviour, the programs span across key departments.
Individual development plans, linked with specific Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensure that employees receive targeted training aligned with departmental goals.
After each training program, employees undergo a thorough evaluation through written tests. Securing a minimum of 70% marks is needed for successful completion. This strict evaluation process guarantees the effectiveness of the training and ensures that employees understand essential concepts.
Incap India fosters a culture of continuous learning through active participation in Kaizen programs. Encouraging employees and trainees to contribute innovative ideas, successful implementations are rewarded, promoting a culture of constant improvement.
To keep the workforce engaged and motivated, Incap India organises theme-based activities and competitions in tandem with major events. From Road Safety Day to Quality Month, these events feature speeches, essay writing, drawing competitions for employees and their children, and quiz programs, fostering a positive and vibrant work environment.
By prioritising training, development programs, and engagement initiatives, the company is not just building a skilled workforce but also cultivating a motivated and invested community that actively contributes to the company’s success.
