Bürkle North America and Schmoll Maschinen, two leading companies supplying state-of-the-art equipment to Printed Circuit Board manufacturers, have announced an amicable separation, effective April 3.
After a successful 20-year partnership, the companies have decided to pursue separate paths, allowing each to focus on their individual strengths and strategic goals.
"We appreciate the collaboration and growth we've experienced with the Schmoll product line," said Jürgen Schröer, CEO of Burkle GmbH. "We will now increase the Bürkle activities in machining and service solutions for the PCB manufacturing market, as well as several other markets we serve."
"We are proud of the accomplishments we've shared with Burkle North America, and we wish them continued success in the future," added Thomas Kunz, Managing Director of Schmoll. "North America is a key market for Schmoll, and through our newly formed company, Schmoll America, we look forward to being closer to our customers and together driving innovation faster than ever.“
The separation is effective April 3, and both companies are committed to ensuring a seamless transition for customers, employees, and partners.
Bürkle North America and Schmoll America will carry forward with the excellent relationship already established, and work closely together to address any outstanding obligations.
