Technica USA Presents Inaugural Supplier Alliance Award at IPC APEX EXPO 2024
April 24, 2024 | Technica USAEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
During IPC APEX EXPO 2024, Technica USA took the opportunity to thank all of their supply partners that made the effort to join them for the exhibition in their booth, as well to all of our SMT partners that had their own booths, with the latest in automation and process technology.
Frank Medina, President/CEO of Technica USA, addressed those in attendance by letting everyone know how grateful Technica was for the relationships, cooperation and success they have had with all of their supply partners.
Medina explained, “While we were in our planning stage for 2024 and reviewing our performance for 2023 our team had discussions about the level of cooperation that must go on between our team and the teams at our supply partners in order to grow sales and properly support our customers. That conversation led the management team to decide that they should begin to recognize each year those partners that have made the extra effort to align themselves with our vision and success. At the show we are presenting our inaugural Supplier Alliance Award to a supplier in each of our major market segments, PCB Fabrication and SMT, for the year 2023.”
Medina then turned to Jason Perry and Jeff Forster to present the two awards. Jason explained, “The award is presented to the company that has contributed greatly to Technica's SUCCESS in 2023 through:
- Strength - in technology and development to meet the market demands
- Unity - we believe when we are aligned acting as one, our customers are confident in our ability to support them
- Cooperation - to close opportunities by bouncing the ball
- Communication – is so important in achieving success
- Effectiveness- in producing results,
- Strategy – drive to align of our strategies
- Support - for Technica and our customers.
Jason elaborated on the long running relationship with Wise of more than 20 years and together how Wise and Technica build SUCCESS through strengthening our relationship, knowledge, product offering and customer support.
Perry then presented the award to Massimo Passerini of Wise s.r.l. Perry went on to state, “These are exciting times, and we look forward to new endeavors together moving forward.”
Jeff Forster then presented the award to Jeff Timms, President of ASMPT Americas. Forster commented how the relationship that started 12 years ago was the backbone of Technica’s success in the SMT market. The collaboration to begin a demo and training center at Technica’s operation in San Jose was a key factor for growing ASMPT’s market share in the territory and to Technica’s ability to advance their product offering with other SMT supply partners. ASMPT was recognized for their continued contribution for the Technica’s record equipment sales in 2023.
Medina ended the gathering letting everyone know that the award presentation would be an annual event during the IPC APEX EXPO.
