Exciting Times Ahead For IMI

Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. “These are exciting times ahead of us at IMI,” said Louis Sylvester Hughes, the company’s new CEO, rallying all employees and assuring all stakeholders of the company during a recently held townhall meeting at the company’s headquarters in Laguna. Employees from the company’s offshore sites were also listening online.
IMI has 20 manufacturing plants across nine countries, providing engineering, manufacturing, and support and fulfillment capabilities to diverse industries globally.
“We shall continue to create products and services through our manufacturing solutions and expertise. Let’s carry on with our seamless transition into a simpler organization fully committed to our roles, responsibilities and work efficiency,” Hughes asserted during the session.
“We will all work together to refocus IMI on its solid roots as a top tier global EMS company. We shall carry on building products for our customers to their specifications with the highest quality, on time delivery and fair price,” he added.
Hughes has a rich and extensive global C-suite experience in sales, engineering, sourcing and operations. His 25 years of engagement in the global EMS industry centered on automotive and medical manufacturing, consumer electronics, sales and supply chain management.
From its manufacturing plants in the Philippines, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Serbia, and the United States, IMI specializes in highly reliable and quality electronics for long product life cycle segments such as automotive, industrial and power electronics, as well as the medical market.
