CentraTEQ Appointed as UK Distributor for MB Dynamics' Squeak & Rattle Test Systems
September 11, 2024 | CentraTEQEstimated reading time: 1 minute

CentraTEQ, a leading UK supplier of Vibration Test Systems, proudly announces its new partnership as the exclusive UK distributor for German company MB Dynamics, renowned for their advanced buzz, squeak, and rattle (BSR) test systems. This new product range perfectly complements CentraTEQ’s existing vibration and product test solutions, providing a comprehensive suite of testing technologies to ensure superior product quality and performance.
MB Dynamics' state-of-the-art Squeak & Rattle test systems are integral to the detection, analysis, and elimination of noise issues from the early development phases through to final production inspection. These systems support comprehensive noise analysis for both passenger cars and commercial vehicles, offering solutions that include vehicle shakers for full vehicle assessments and component shakers for interior parts, steering systems, and chassis components. They enable precise testing and simulation of noise-critical driving situations, adhering to strict industry standards such as GMW14011, FORD CETP-L-413, PSA STE9646364399, BMW PR311-4, and Hyundai Engineering Standards.
The full vehicle shakers can reproduce a variety of test tracks with different road surfaces, speeds, and engine conditions at the push of a button, providing realistic and reproducible testing environments. Component shakers, designed for sequential and simultaneous excitation of parts and components across one to six axes, come with options for environmental chamber testing from -40°C to +80°C.
Advanced capabilities such as the Drive-Files mobile measuring systems offer 4-64 channels for recording and transferring data on accelerations, forces, vibrations, and noises in vehicles. The BSR Analysis Systems feature acoustic test systems with 4 to 16 measurement channels for precise analysis of buzzes, squeaks, rattles, and other functional noises against defined limits and reference spectra.
"Partnering with MB Dynamics aligns perfectly with CentraTEQ's commitment to providing the highest quality testing solutions to our clients," said Jim Flanagan, MD at CentraTEQ. "Their innovative BSR test systems will enable our customers to perform more accurate and efficient noise analysis, ensuring their products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The addition of MB Dynamics' range is a perfect fit and very complementary to our existing vibration and product test solutions."
