Yamaha Robotics SMT Section is celebrating the 30th anniversary of ANS Answer Elektronik (ANS), the longstanding sales agent for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The two companies have been working together for 27 of ANS’s 30-year history and have now installed more than 400 Yamaha surface-mount machines for leading high-tech manufacturers in the region.
ANS quickly established its credentials with Yamaha after being appointed in 1997, achieving the highest European sales for the iPulse range of SMT and hybrid production equipment on four occasions. ANS continues to support its customers who rely on iPulse equipment still in service today, holding events such as this April’s User Day to help operators maintain optimum performance. The Company also has a fully equipped demonstration room with a complete SMT line containing all the latest Yamaha equipment; the venue for the 2024 Technology Day held in September attended and supported by Yamaha experts.
“We have achieved great success together throughout the three decades of our collaboration. The commitment ANS continues to demonstrate towards customers still using iPulse, one of our earliest generations of equipment, illustrates perfectly the reasons our partnership has worked so well and lasted so long,” said Ulf Neyka, Yamaha Sales Manager DACH. “ANS has grown with us as we have continued to expand our product range and deliver increasingly technically advanced solutions to the market, and we are looking forward to achieving even greater successes together in the future.”
Celebrating its milestone in business, ANS entertained staff and VIP guests at Castle Ronneburg, a historic venue close to the company’s base near Frankfurt.
“We have celebrated our anniversary while continuing to focus on serving our customers and supporting the high-tech community in our region,” said Sebastian Glitsch, ANS General Manager. “Our connection with Yamaha is extremely important, both an inspiration and an enabler for us to grow our team and continue improving the quality of the expertise we can offer. We are excited to continue growing our business and delivering value for our customers together.” Concluded Reiner Gölz, ANS General Manager.
