Compal Posts 3% QoQ Revenue Increase in 3Q24

Compal Electronics announced its financial results for 3Q24. The consolidated revenue for 3Q24 reached NT$244.317 billion, marking a 3% QoQ increase. This growth was driven by increased sales in computer products, wearables and automotive electronics, while other product lines remained stable. The optimization of product mix helped maintain the GM at 5.0%. Combined with improved operational efficiency and effective cost control, the OPM further increased to 1.9% in 3Q24. Consolidated operating profit +15% QoQ and +28% YoY to NT$4.677 billion. Net profit attributable to the parent company +16% QoQ and +39% YoY to NT$3.334 billion. EPS for the quarter rose to NT$0.77.
The consolidated revenue was NT$681.098 billion, a slight decrease of 3% for 1-3Q24. However, driven by the improved profitability, net profit attributable to the parent company surged 38% YoY to NT$8.106 billion, with EPS at NT$1.86 for 1-3Q24.
