SCHMID Group, a leading global provider of innovative technology solutions, has officially filed a lawsuit against Shenzhen China Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (China SC) over allegations of trademark infringement and unauthorized copying of proprietary technology.
This legal action, initiated after years of unsuccessful resolution attempts, underscores SCHMID Group’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding its intellectual property and preserving the integrity of its globally recognized brand.
SCHMID Group made repeated efforts over several years to address the matter amicably, giving China SC multiple opportunities to rectify its unlawful actions. However, despite these efforts, China SC failed to take the necessary steps to resolve the issue, leaving SCHMID Group with no alternative but to pursue legal action.
“At SCHMID Group, we pride ourselves on delivering cutting-edge technology and innovation to our global customers,” said Christian Schmid, CEO of SCHMID Group. “The actions of China SC undermine not only our company but also the trust and confidence of our customers and partners. We remain resolute in defending our brand and intellectual property against misuse.”
The lawsuit has been filed in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, PRC, and SCHMID Group is prepared to pursue the matter to its conclusion to ensure justice is served.
With a strong presence in China and worldwide, SCHMID Group has consistently demonstrated its dedication to innovation, quality, and fair competition. This legal action serves as a clear statement of the company’s resolve to protect its intellectual property and uphold industry standards.
