Jaltek are delighted to officially announce that they have joined the Midlands Aerospace Alliance (MAA). The MAA which was formed in 2003 to support and represent the aerospace industry across the Midlands region, now represents one of the largest aerospace clusters in the world and is one of the strongest advocates for both the aerospace industry and the Midlands region.
The Midlands, where Jaltek has its factory, is a leading centre for high-value manufacturing, advanced engineering and innovation and the MAA works strategically with its members to ensure the Midlands is always at the forefront of the global aerospace industry and are pioneers of innovation. The MAA also works closely with the UK's other regional aerospace alliances, as well as European and world-wide aerospace clusters, to actively raise the profile of the aerospace industry across the globe.
Furthermore they also lobby the industry’s needs with government, through partnerships with other clusters and the national body ADS, as well as having strong relationships with influential bodies including the Department for International Trade and Innovate UK.
On joining the MAA Jaltek’s Steve Blythe commented:
"We're looking forward to being a part of of this growing aerospace community, that represents one of the largest aerospace clusters in the world.
