As a globally leading technology company, AT&S attaches great importance not only to the high-tech competence of its employees, but also to a safe and healthy working environment and the well-being of its workforce. To coincide with World Health Day on April 7 and World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28, the Styrian microelectronics group is launching the first “AT&S Health Month” in April. This month of action applies at all production sites in Austria, China, India and Malaysia and lasts five weeks.
The five weeks are divided into five thematic areas: Appreciation and mental health (focus of the first week from April 1), sports and activities, nutrition, occupational medicine with health checks and safety in the workplace.
More well-being in the workplace
The offers at AT&S are as diverse as the topic: resilience webinar, healthcare road, running seminar, daily podcasts and audio books, appreciation cards for colleagues, outdoor meetings and “Walk the Talk”, fruit baskets and healthy menus, first aid campaigns et cetera.
“We want to emphasize the importance of physical and mental health,” says Sonja Polt, Head of Talent Management in the HR department at AT&S. “I firmly believe that our performance can only be as strong as our well-being. AT&S Health Month gives us the impetus to reflect, take advantage of all that is available and invest in a stronger, more resilient you.”
