Insulectro, the largest distributor of materials used in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards and printed electronics, announces the promotion of Mitchell Benson to Product Manager for its rigid laminate portfolio.
Michelle Walsh, Vice President of Product Management stated, “I’m pleased to announce that Mitchell Benson has been promoted to Product Manager – Laminates, effective this week."
Walsh continued, “Mitchell will continue to lead sales efforts for EMC and Arlon products while expanding his involvement across our laminate business. In this enhanced role, he’ll be directly engaging with fabricators and OEM customers, strengthening relationships with our key laminate supplier, driving sales, and contributing to the strategic direction of our company."
“Mitchell’s deep product knowledge, dedication, and results-driven approach make him a strong fit as Insulectro’s go-to resource for EMC and Arlon products.”
Benson joined Insulectro two years ago when Insulectro began distributing the world’s best laminates and prepregs manufactured by EMC and its stateside subsidiary Arlon.
Benson exclaimed, “I am appreciative for the opportunity to step into the Product Manager – Laminates role. It’s exciting to take on this next challenge and continue building on the success we have had as North American distributor for EMC and Arlon. I look forward to getting even more involved with our customers and acquainting them with what EMC Arlon products can do. We have such a superior product offering. I’m ready to hit the ground running."
Walsh added, “Norm Berry will continue in his role as the Director of Laminates and OEM Sales and will work closely with Mitchell to support this expanded role with our laminate business.”
Benson entered the printed circuit business as a Technical Sales Representative for AMS Products. In that capacity, he traveled around the West Coast selling consumables and machinery to the PCB industry.
In 2023, Benson joined Insulectro. He received his education from Georgia College & State University.
