Primax, Vieureka Partner to Drive Next-Generation EDGE AI

Primax Electronics Ltd., a leading global ODM with AI sensor fusion technologies, and Vieureka Inc., a Japanese edge AI innovator, announced a strategic partnership to develop a next-generation edge AI camera. The solution combines Primax's high-performance AI camera with the Vieureka Platform, integrating advanced processing and seamless remote operation.
The collaboration aims to enhance edge AI camera performance while standardizing remote management, enabling solutions that address on-site challenges across healthcare, manufacturing, and other industries. "By integrating high-performance hardware with a flexible AI platform, we aim to deliver next-generation smart solutions globally," said Jason Hsu, VP and head of Vision Solutions Group at Primax.
Featuring a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for low-power, high-performance computer vision, the Vieureka Platform allows safe remote management, including AI model updates, training, and parameter adjustments. "This collaboration lets us deploy edge AI solutions globally, bringing new value and AI-driven experiences to workplaces worldwide," said Akihiro Miyazaki, President of Vieureka.
Leveraging Primax's global manufacturing network and quality system, the companies plan early mass production to ensure stable supply, accelerating the global adoption of edge AI solutions.
