Merlin PCB Group Invests in 2 CIMS Galaxy 25µ AOI Machines

The Merlin PCB group has invested in CIMS Galaxy 25µ AOI machines, one for Merlin Flex in Hartlepool and the other for Merlin Circuit Technology in Hawarden. Both machines are the latest technology from CIMS and substantially increases the in-line inspection capability at both facilities.
From thin flexible materials to thick copper sculptured flex, to High-speed rigid laminates with HDI tracking, these latest state of the art machines provide the level of inspection required to meet the highest specifications required from their Defence and Aerospace customers – also enabling additional in-process inspection such as laser drill verification.
