Neways Electronics Celebrates Grand Opening of New Manufacturing Facility in Slovakia

Neways, the global innovator in mission-critical technology for semicon, defense & mobility, and connectivity sectors, is proud to announce the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nová Dubnica, Slovakia. This strategic expansion reaffirms Neways’ commitment to its growth strategy and enhances its global manufacturing footprint while meeting growing regional demand.
The advanced facility of 22,000 m2, including a 2,250 m2 high-grade cleanroom, is uniquely equipped to serve our fast growing and demanding customers in the semiconductor and defense sectors, including ASML, Saab, Rheinmetall, Thermo Fisher Scientific and VDL. The new facility is based in Nová Dubnica where Neways has already been present for almost 30 years. This strategic move underscores Neways’ dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its customers and enhancing operational efficiency.
Today, the site was officially opened by Neways’ CEO Hans Büthker, accompanied by H.E. Mrs. Denisa Saková, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, H.E. Mr. Jules Gerzon, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Slovak Republic, and Mr. Wayne Allan, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Officer at ASML, and member of the ASML Board of Management.
Denisa Saková, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic stated: “Slovakia’s technology and manufacturing landscape is evolving rapidly, and investments such as Neways’ expansion in Nová Dubnica demonstrate our country’s strong position as a hub for innovation and advanced industry. With our skilled workforce and strategic location, Slovakia offers the ideal environment for companies like Neways to scale their operations and contribute to sustainable economic growth.”
Wayne Allan, commented: “The long-standing partnership between ASML and Neways is built on trust, technical-and operational excellence, and a shared vision for innovation. This new facility marks another significant step forward in strengthening our collaboration and ensuring a strategic, future-ready supply chain.
