The I-Connect007 staff wishes you all a Happy New Year! Our offices are closed New Year’s Day and will re-open on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026.
The end of one year and the start of another is often a perfect time to reflect on what has been and where we are headed. We all want better health, more strategic goals, more business, more motivation, and stronger intentions. We can turn over the calendar and a new chapter in our own book of life.
Here are a 11 of my favorite questions I ask myself at the end of each year. Perhaps you can ask yourselves these questions personally and professionally.
1. What am I grateful happened this year?
2. What hard things did I overcome this year?
3. What did 2025 teach me?
4. Who positively impacted my life this year?
5. How am I different from the person I was in January?
6. What relationships do I need to strengthen in 2026?
7. What do I need to start doing?
8. What do I need to stop doing?
9. What do I need to keep doing?
10. What’s one small thing I can do to get 1% better every day?
11. What’s my why?

Good luck with the self-reflection and we look forward to many partnership opportunities with you in 2026!

I-Connect007 Editor’s Choice: Five Must-Reads for the Week
12/26/2025 | Marcy LaRont, I-Connect007What a year it’s been! I don’t think anyone could have anticipated the level of shake-up that was to come on the global trade scene when U.S. President Donald Trump came into his second term in January, but the drama that has ensued rivals anything ever aired on “The Apprentice.” However, I am somewhat heartened by our current position compared to how things felt in Q2 of this year. Much remains to be worked out, but as we sprint into the new year, there are three things I know for sure: 1) Working in tech is never dull—you will not be bored in 2026; 2) Expect to work very hard; and 3) Business, like life, will go on no matter what. I hope you enjoy my picks for week: all good reads for different reasons. Happy New Year!
Why AI/ML May Be the Next Big Step for PCB Fabs
12/23/2025 | Sydney Xiao, Global Electronics Association East AsiaPCB manufacturing is approaching a pivotal moment across the global electronics supply chain. For decades, the industry grew by adding equipment, expanding capacity, and relying on the accumulated experience of seasoned engineers. Today, the landscape is shaped by rising product complexity, increasingly sensitive material systems, tighter delivery expectations, and a worldwide shortage of technical talent. The traditional model is nearing its limits.
Elementary, Mr. Watson: Finding Balance on the Seesaw and in Life
12/23/2025 | John Watson -- Column: Elementary, Mr. WatsonOne of my greatest joys as a grandfather to nine (soon to be 10) grandkids is spending time with them at the park. It doesn't take long before I find myself wedged halfway down a slide that was never designed for someone my size, or sitting on a seesaw where my weight instantly teaches a real-time physics lesson—mainly that Grandpa is not as light as he feels inside, and yes, gravity loves me more.
