Austin American Technology (AAT) is celebrating 40 years of designing and building advanced electronics cleaning systems for SMT, PCB, stencil, flip-chip, and BGA applications across automotive, medical, military, and aerospace industries. Founded in 1986 by Steve Stach, who continues to serve as CTO and Chairman of the Board, AAT has grown from a small engineering workshop into a respected global supplier of cleaning equipment.
Since introducing the world’s first automated stencil cleaner in 1988, AAT has developed systems including the HydroJet®, MicroJet®, NanoJet®, and ExtremeJet® inline cleaners, as well as the Aqua ROSE batch cleaner and Mega Ion solvent cleaner. Today, the company offers batch, inline, modular inline, solvent, and stencil cleaners, all designed and built in Austin, Texas, and Anaheim, California, to meet specific customer needs.
“Our goal has always been to provide cleaning solutions that simply work,” said Steve Stach. “After 40 years, we remain focused on helping manufacturers keep their operations running smoothly while giving them options that fit their specific challenges.”
AAT’s team supports customers worldwide with hands-on service, training, and rapid-response support. Customers can also test equipment in the company’s fully equipped demo room, either in person or virtually, to see the systems in action before making decisions.
