Technica USA, along with its valued partners, Inovaxe and Creative Electron, participated in the SMTA San Diego Expo & Tech Forum last week at the El Corazon Event Center.
Frank Silva, Technica USA’s Sales Agent for the region, showcased and promoted the full range of equipment and consumable product lines represented and distributed by Technica USA. We greatly appreciated the support provided by Logan Foster of Inovaxe, Giancarlo De La Garza, and Courtney Kalb of Creative Electron.
The SMTA Expo & Tech Forum provide an excellent platform for bringing together professionals from across the electronics manufacturing industry while giving attendees access to global technologies at the local level. The event attracted a diverse audience, including industry professionals, professors, teachers, and students, creating valuable opportunities for networking, education, and technology exchange.
Frank Silva commented, “While this may not have been the largest Expo & Tech Forum sponsored by SMTA across the country, it successfully fulfilled its mission of providing meaningful outreach and engagement within the local community.”
Technica USA is also a proud member of the Printed Circuit Board Association of America (PCBAA), which advocates on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., for the advancement and growth of printed circuit board and substrate manufacturing in the United States. The organization’s mission is to Advocate, Educate, and Legislate in support of the domestic PCB industry.
While the PCBAA continues its important work in Washington, local industry events such as the SMTA San Diego Expo & Tech Forum play a vital role in educating college and high school students about the importance of maintaining a strong U.S.-based PCB manufacturing infrastructure. By connecting students with industry leaders and emerging technologies, these events help inspire the next generation of manufacturing and engineering professionals.
Technica USA and its Partners intend to continue its support of these local events sponsored by the SMTA.
