More than 120 participants gathered onsite in Toulouse, with an additional 20 joining online, for the 2026 Electronics Day Design France, organised by Global Electronics Association in collaboration with IPC Designers Council France.
Over two days, the event brought together PCB designers, manufacturers, aerospace engineers, technical experts, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge, discuss practical engineering challenges, and strengthen collaboration across the European electronics ecosystem.
The conference programme featured technical presentations and discussions covering a range of topics relevant to today's electronics industry, including design for manufacturability, PCB design challenges, reliability considerations, routing strategies, testing methodologies, and manufacturing best practices. Throughout the sessions, participants exchanged practical experience and technical expertise while addressing real-world engineering challenges.
The programme also provided an opportunity for IPC Designers Council France working groups to exchange ideas, discuss future initiatives, and explore priorities for the 2026–2027 period, reinforcing the collaborative approach that underpins the event.
Beyond the conference sessions, participants continued discussions during the networking dinner, attended by 80 industry professionals. The evening provided valuable opportunities to strengthen professional relationships, exchange perspectives, and continue conversations initiated during the technical programme.
The event concluded with a PCB manufacturing presentation and factory visit at the new CSI Sud-Ouest facility. The visit enabled participants to connect the technical concepts discussed during the conference with real-world manufacturing practices, offering valuable insight into modern PCB production processes and technologies.
2026 Electronics Day Design France once again demonstrated the importance of bringing together professionals from across the electronics value chain to exchange expertise, address common challenges, and foster collaboration throughout Europe's electronics industry.
Global Electronics Association extends its thanks to all speakers, attendees, partners, and members of IPC Designers Council France whose contributions helped make the event a success. We look forward to welcoming the electronics community to future events and continuing these important technical discussions across Europe.
