Incap Germany has further expanded its selective soldering capabilities with the commissioning of a new SEHO SelectLine-C 500. The investment marks another step in the continued modernisation and automation of our electronics manufacturing operations, strengthening production capacity while supporting stable and reliable manufacturing processes.
The new system has been introduced with a clear focus on increasing efficiency, improving process stability and ensuring consistently high soldering quality. At the same time, the additional capacity helps us prepare our manufacturing operations for future growth and changing production requirements.
Increasing automation and efficiency
The SEHO SelectLine-C 500 is designed for the precise and efficient processing of Through-Hole Technology (THT) components. It combines key process steps including flux application, controlled preheating and selective soldering within an automated production process. Our system also features automated loading and unloading, integrated inspection stations and AI-supported functions for creating soldering programmes.
Bringing these functions together within one production process increases the level of automation and reduces the need for manual intervention. For Incap Germany, this is an important aspect of the investment, as greater automation enables us to use available resources more effectively while maintaining stable production processes and increasing overall capacity.
Supporting stable and flexible production
Alongside greater automation, process stability and quality were key considerations behind the investment. Precise control of the relevant process parameters supports repeatable manufacturing processes and consistently high soldering quality. This is particularly important when processing different assemblies and responding to varying production requirements.
The modular architecture of the SelectLine also provides the flexibility required to accommodate different assemblies and manufacturing needs. This allows us to respond to changing requirements while maintaining reliable and repeatable production processes.
Benefits for our operations
The benefits are already visible in our operations. A higher level of automation, increased capacity and greater process reliability provide a strong basis for efficient and consistent production. Automated processes also allow us to make better use of our existing resources and create additional capacity without the need to add further production lines.
Preparing for future manufacturing needs
For Afrem Alfia, Managing Director Operations at Incap Germany, the investment combines several important objectives: greater automation, stable and repeatable processes and additional production capacity. It enables Incap Germany to use existing resources more efficiently while strengthening its manufacturing capabilities for future growth.
The SEHO SelectLine-C 500 forms part of our ongoing development of electronics manufacturing at Incap Germany. By combining advanced manufacturing technology with greater automation, consistent quality and additional capacity, we are strengthening our production capabilities and preparing our operations for future manufacturing requirements.
