The SMTA is pleased to announce its election results for the Global Board of Directors for the term beginning October 29, 2026. Greg Vance, Rockwell Automation, has been re-elected president. Incumbents, Tom Rovere, Lockheed Martin, and Maurice Dore, Valeo, were re-elected and will maintain their positions on the board. Anna Lifton, MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, and Luis R. Soto-Guzmán, D.Eng., PE, Collins Aerospace, have been newly elected to the Board of Directors for the term 2026-2029.
Those remaining on the SMTA Global Board of Directors include: Elizabeth Benedetto, HP Inc.; Mumtaz Bora, pSemi; Jason Keeping, P.Eng., Celestica, Inc.; Adam Klett, Ph.D., KYZEN Corporation; Pratish Patel, Electronic Interconnect; Sutharshan Suppiramaniam, SMT Elite Corporation; and Kirk Van Dreel, Plexus Corp.
The SMTA will bid a fond farewell to departing board members Mike Konrad, Aqueous Technologies, and Priyanka Dobriyal, Ph.D., Lightmatter. As their time on the Board draws to a close, the SMTA expresses its sincerest gratitude for their continued service and dedication to the association and industry.
