FDH Aero, a leading global provider of supply chain solutions for the aerospace and defense industry, announced that FDH Electronics, an FDH Aero division serving the mil-aero market’s electronic component needs, has acquired Peerless Electronics Inc., a franchised distributor of electromechanical components.
“This is an exciting step for our FDH Electronics team as it meaningfully expands our electromechanical line card while deepening our supplier relationships,” said Bob Earley, President of FDH Electronics. “By combining our deep strength in interconnect and wire and cable components with their complementary electromechanical expertise, we are scaling our existing capabilities to create a compelling value proposition for customers that streamlines their supply chain by sourcing a broader array of critical components through a single, trusted partner.”
Established in 1945, Peerless has a long history of supplying switches, circuit breakers, sensors, and relays to more than 3,000 aerospace, defense and industrial customers. The organization stocks approximately 35,000 SKUs and represents over 50 manufacturers.
Beyond component distribution, Peerless operates an authorized Value-Added Assembly Center out of its Hauppauge, New York, facility. The company offers more than 50 customized services, including custom switch panels, custom circuit breaker panels and military-qualified packaging. Peerless holds AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certifications and meets CMMC Level 2 compliance requirements, supporting its work in highly regulated markets.
“Joining forces with FDH Electronics represents an exciting new chapter for Peerless Electronics and our customers,” said William Gallucci, President of Peerless. “Our mutual commitment to customer service, deep supplier relationships, and high-quality value-added assembly makes this a natural fit. I look forward to supporting the team as we integrate our operations and bring even greater value to our combined customer base.”
With the acquisition complete, Gallucci will remain with the company in a senior leadership role.
