Zollner Elektronik AG and Avalon Technologies Limited are establishing a strategic joint venture for printed circuit board assembly and system integration in India.
Through the partnership, Zollner is expanding its international competence network and adding manufacturing capacity to support global customers operating in the Indian market.
Avalon brings an established manufacturing base, mature supply chain structures and more than 25 years of experience in the Indian EMS market. Zollner contributes extensive engineering and manufacturing expertise, international customer relationships and know-how across the entire product life cycle.
Together, the companies aim to provide customers in India with reliable, locally based manufacturing and advanced technological capabilities.
Closer to Customers Through Manufacturing in India
The joint venture will manufacture printed circuit board assemblies and system integration products in India. Initially, the focus will be on supplying the Indian operations of existing customers.
Avalon complements these services with capabilities in cable assemblies and wire harnesses, inductive components, plastics technology, sheet metal fabrication and machining. The partners will combine their strengths to offer a broad range of manufacturing capabilities for complex electronic and mechatronic products.
Strategic Expansion of the International Competence Network
Zollner has pursued an international strategy focused on supporting customers worldwide with consistent quality standards and proximity to local markets. The joint venture with Avalon expands this network by adding manufacturing capacity in India, an increasingly important market for global customers.
The partnership enables Zollner to leverage Avalon’s existing infrastructure and manufacturing experience, providing rapid access to local production capacity without having to establish its own facilities from the ground up.
