TFE Acquires TEKENA USA, Expanding Particle Removal and Surface Cleaning Portfolio

TFE, a North American provider of manufacturing equipment, consumable products and technical solutions, announced the acquisition of TEKENA USA LLC, a provider of particle removal and surface cleaning technologies for precision manufacturing applications.

The acquisition adds TEKENA’s established line of contact cleaning and particle removal products to TFE’s growing portfolio. TEKENA solutions are used to remove dust, fibers and other unwanted particles from materials and production surfaces where contamination can affect product quality, process consistency and manufacturing yield.

TEKENA serves a range of industries and processes, including printed circuit board manufacturing, battery production, SMT, coating, lamination, printing, solar and other advanced manufacturing applications.

After many years leading TEKENA, owner Mark Rollinson will be retiring as part of the transition.

This acquisition allows us to bring customers proven solutions in another important area of their production process, backed by the technical expertise and responsive support they expect from TFE. TEKENA’s product portfolio includes sheet and web cleaning systems, contact cleaning equipment, adhesive rolls, manual cleaning products, consumables, spare parts and roller recoating services.

As part of the acquisition, TEKENA products will become part of TFE’s North American product offering and will be supported by TFE’s sales, technical and customer service organization. Existing customers and distributors will continue to have access to TEKENA products, replacement consumables, application expertise and technical support.

The acquisition continues TFE’s expansion beyond its core PCB manufacturing market into complementary technologies serving electronics, battery and other advanced manufacturing industries.
