Demonstrating its commitment to creating a positive impact in the community, Kimball Electronics China recently supported students at Nanjing Normal University of Special Education (NNUSE) through a charitable initiative aimed at helping incoming freshmen begin their academic journey.
On September 17, a team of five employees from Kimball Electronics China, represented by Rebecca Zhao, Human Resources Manager, and Albert Zhang, Facility Manager, visited NNUSE to deliver donations and learn more about the university's mission and impact. The visit reflected the company's ongoing dedication to education, community engagement, and creating quality for life.
To help students transition into campus living, the team donated essential dormitory supplies, including mosquito nets, desk lamps, and other daily-use necessities. These contributions will help support students' immediate needs while providing encouragement as they adjust to university life.
NNUSE holds a unique place in China's higher education system as the country's only independently established university primarily focused on preparing special education teachers and professionals who serve individuals with disabilities.
