Xi Electronics LLC has acquired C.J. Rogers Electronics, Inc., marking a new chapter for the Southern California electronics manufacturer following more than 50 years under the leadership of founder Carol Rogers.
With Rogers retiring after five decades in the industry, the company will move forward as Xi Electronics under the leadership of President and Owner Ankit Goti. The acquisition combines C.J. Rogers Electronics' long-standing manufacturing experience, skilled team, and customer relationships with new leadership focused on technology, expanded capabilities, and long-term growth.
Goti is an electrical engineer and electronics manufacturing executive with more than a decade of experience in PCB manufacturing, electronics assembly, quality systems, process improvement, and manufacturing operations. He is an IEEE Senior Member and an active participant in IPC standards development, including the IPC-A-600 Task Group. His experience also includes IPC-6012, ISO 9001, AS9100, CAPA, internal auditing, and high-reliability PCB manufacturing.
"C.J. Rogers built an incredible foundation over more than 50 years," said Goti. "Our goal is to preserve that legacy while bringing new technology, expanded capabilities, and the energy of a new generation to Xi Electronics."
The experienced C.J. Rogers team will continue with Xi Electronics, maintaining continuity in manufacturing knowledge, product quality, customer service, and American manufacturing.
Operating from Orange, California, Xi Electronics provides SMT and through-hole PCB assembly, mixed-technology assembly, prototyping, NPI support, and production manufacturing. Under its new leadership, the company plans to invest in advanced equipment, automation, quality systems, and expanded manufacturing capabilities.
"After more than five decades, the time has come to pass the baton to the next generation," said Carol Rogers. "I am pleased to see the company and its legacy continue forward under Ankit's leadership."
