Rockwell Collins has released a major upgrade to the user interface (UI) for the ARINC Advanced Information Management (AIM) security platform.
The new AIM UI incorporates state-of-the-art technology to provide a greatly improved user experience for customers. Key features include streamlined and intuitive workflows, improved user management features, customizable workspace layouts, configurable desktop themes, a built-in graphical display editor and an improved user feedback mechanism.
"This update streamlines many of the functions our customers use and is more visually appealing," said Tim Ciocco, senior director, ARINC Security for Rockwell Collins. "These enhancements will continue to improve our customers' ability to secure their critical infrastructure sites."
The new platform was built using the Agile software development methodology, the most current practice for system development today. The Agile approach is typically used in software development to help organizations respond to unpredictability and will provide AIM users with enhanced flexibility to manage unexpected changes to their critical infrastructure security needs.
Rockwell Collins’ ARINC AIM platform provides real-time situational awareness for the safety and security of personnel, passengers and facilities. AIM is a U.S. market leader in nuclear power integrated security systems, and also provides access, command and control for secure government facilities, military installations, seaports and airports.
