Saki America to Showcase True 3D AOI and Measurement Systems at SMTAI 2015
September 23, 2015 | Saki Corp.Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Saki Corporation will be showcasing its true 3D automated optical inspection (AOI) and measurement equipment at the upcoming Surface Mount Technology International (SMTAI) Show, being held in Rosemont, Illinois from September 29 – 30. Saki's BF-3Di AOI System doesn't just inspect, it provides measurement of each component for heights from 0 to 20mm, with 1-micron height resolution.
Saki's BF-3Di AOI system is the fastest on the market with an average takt time of 18 seconds. It captures the most difficult defects, such as lifted leads, tombstones, reverses, and height variations. The proprietary offline programming software, BF-2 Editor software, fully emulates inspection conditions and provides real-time testing and verification of programming variables--exactly as if you were programming on the machine itself, thereby greatly reducing programming and debug time and cost, while providing optimal inspection results. The system performs with a first pass yield higher than 95% or false-call rate of less than 100ppm and virtually 0 escapes.
"Saki has been manufacturing inspection equipment for the surface mount industry since 1994 and has innovated optics, robotics, and software systems," said Satoshi Otake, general manager of SAKI America, Inc. "Our systems can be found in the top aerospace, telecommunications, and EMS companies around the world. We have just expanded sales into the United States so we can be closer to our customers and provide more rapid service and support."
Saki will be at Booth #1025.
