All Flex Launches Web-Based 'Build-A-Heater' Configurator
November 2, 2015 | All FlexEstimated reading time: 1 minute
All Flex, manufacturer of flexible printed circuits and flexible heaters, has launched an online design and ordering system that allows engineers to configure a custom heater. Users input their electrical requirements, submit payment, and receive heaters within days. The process offers custom sizes and some added value options with straightforward designs, therefore eliminating quotes and approval file expediting turn time.
Sales and Applications Engineer Zack Schaner says the program is targeted to simplify the process for customers.
“We wanted to make it more convenient for customers to quickly design and order their heater online," says Schaner. "This will help them determine if a particular application is a good fit for their technology. It’s simplified, streamlined, and gets the heaters in our customers hands much faster, that’s the ultimate goal. ”
Schaner adds that although the process is electronic, orders will be visible and monitored by customer service account managers. The All Flex Build-A-Heater program can deliver prototype to high volume silicone rubber or polyimide heater circuits with pressure sensitive adhesive and assembled wires of various gauge options.
All Flex has been manufacturing flexible circuits for nearly 25 years and added flexible polyimide and silicone rubber heater circuits to their product line in 2008. All Flex also provides high-temp heaters and comprehensive surface mount and thru hole component assembly services.
