IEC Celebrates 50th Anniversary Milestone in 2016
January 7, 2016 | IECEstimated reading time: 1 minute
It is with great pleasure that International Electronic Components Inc. (IEC) announces their 50th Anniversary. IEC is the longest serving distributor to the Circuit Board industry in North America and has established partnerships with companies such as Dow/Eternal, CAC, MTH, Kodak and others that span decades.
IEC was founded in 1966 by the late James Patterson Stone. His son, Shawn Stone, along with business partner Chuck Williams, continued to grow the business as a successful sales and service provider of consumables and equipment to the North American printed circuit board market.
“At IEC we pride ourselves on old fashioned values where a handshake is golden,” says company president Shawn Stone. “My father’s philosophy was simple; business is organized friendship. We bring that perspective on relationships to every aspect of our business whether dealing with employees, customers or suppliers. That’s the secret to our success.”
Being successful in this market for 50 years is a testament to the expertise and dedication of IEC’s employees and its loyal customers. With a proven sales and service network as well as extensive technical support capabilities, IEC envisions providing sales and service for many more years to come to the PCB industry.
During 2016 there will be a number of events to celebrate success including: IPC APEX EXPO in Las Vegas, Nevada in March 2016 and an anniversary celebration event in Toronto in May 2016.
For more information please contact Shawn Stone at shawn.stone@ieccan.com or call 1-800-363-4794.
