Exception EMS Achieves Silver Investors in People Accreditation

Exception EMS, a leading UK based contract electronics manufacturer has today announced its award of Silver accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating its commitment to high performance through good people management. The company is one of the first in the South West to be assessed against the IIP Sixth Generation Framework launched in 2015.
Investors in People is part of the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES), a publicly funded, industry-led organisation that offers guidance on skills and employment issues in the UK. Since 1991 Investors in People has set the standard for better people management. Its standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results. With a community of over 15,000 organisations across 75 countries worldwide, successful accreditation against the Investors in People Standard is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to sustainability.

Exception is proud to also be within the elite 5% of businesses in the UK that receive a Silver accreditation.”
The IIP framework helps businesses like Exception EMS take best practice steps to improve employee communication, achieve set KPIs, remunerate staff effectively and provide employees with a career path supported by appropriate training.
