LPKF to Debut Latest Laser System at International Microwave Week
April 20, 2016 | LPKFEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Attendees of the 2016 International Microwave Symposium (IEEE-IMS) Exhibition will have the opportunity to see printed circuit boards made in-person by visiting LPKF Laser & Electronics in booth #1423. LPKF will be presenting its latest laser PCB prototyping system, the LPKF ProtoLaser S4, for the first time in North America. Also at the show will be their best-selling PCB milling system, the ProtoMat S103. The show will be hosted in San Francisco, CA at the Moscone Center, May 24-26.
The LPKF ProtoLaser S4 is an enhanced version of the predecessor with an extended application range and is a valuable tool in the electronics lab. It produces precise geometries on a whole range of substrates such as copper-clad FR4, aluminum-coated PET films, ceramics, Duroid and PTFE. The laser process requires no additional masks or tools - go from CAD data to completed PCB in minutes.
Also being demonstrated at the IMS show in San Francisco will be the LPKF ProtoMat S103 circuit board plotter. The system is great for producing PCB prototypes and small batches configured specifically for RF and microwave requirements. It also carefully depanels irregular shaped flexible circuit boards from larger boards. LPKF’s circuit board plotters have delivered quick, accurate, and easy to use prototyping solutions for more than 30 years.
LPKF will demonstrate both systems throughout the three day exhibition and encourages anyone who wants to learn more about in-house PCB prototyping to come see the systems in action in booth #1423 at the IMS 2016 exhibition in San Francisco, California.
About LPKF
