I-Connect007 guest editor Dick Crowe speaks with Hans Vandervelde, product manager of carbide tools at Perfect Point, and Shane Stewart, product manager at Advanced Copper Foils—both companies being supply partners of Matrix USA Inc.—about advancements in drill technology and in copper foils.
Vandervelde discusses the advantages of their new Hybrid Single-Flute Drill, such as registration accuracy and breakage resistance without sacrificing the hole quality.
Stewart, meanwhile, talks about their HVLP foils that have an Rz less than 2.5 microns, as well the Almost No Profile (ANP) copper foil, which has an Rz of around 1.3 microns.
