U.S. Circuit has just completed a $1 million installation of a 251 kWh solar system covering their entire parking lot.
This system makes U.S. Circuit one of a kind within the U.S. PCB fabrication industry. With this massive green effort, U.S. Circuit looks to save the company about 20% on their electric bill, with the side benefit of providing shaded covered parking for their employees.
To further their green effort, U.S. Circuit has also converted all of their internal and external lighting systems to 480 LED fixtures.
U.S. Circuit President Mike Fariba stated, “With all the impact to the environment and our fuel sources these days, we felt the need to do our part to reduce our own footprint. Going green has taken time and presented some challenges up front but we’re confident that our efforts will provide great benefit for both the environment and U.S. Circuit for years to come.”
