Eagle Electronics Increases Direct Imaging Capacity; Reduces Cycle Time
June 22, 2020 | Eagle ElectronicsEstimated reading time: 1 minute

Mike Kalaria, President and CEO of Eagle Electronics of Schaumburg, Illinois announced today that his company has made an additional new investment in direct imaging.
Eagle Electronics has a strong partnership with their supplier Schmoll Maschinen who builds advanced direct imaging equipment. Eagle has recently purchased their third direct imaging machine from Schmoll which is their MDI-ST XL. This machine will increase their direct imaging capacity by 30-40%. It will also play a major role in reducing cycle time for solder mask exposing.
Commenting on this latest investment Mr. Kalaria stated, “Eagle is well positioned for sustained growth as such we must always look at incremental expansion to support our new and existing customer’s needs. We also like the risk mitigation provided by having more redundancy in our imaging department. In this equipment we also get another major benefit which is the latest performance improvements. We essentially can cut our solder mask exposing time in half greatly improving cycle time. All told we have made an investment which will provide multiple benefits to our customers”
Eagle’s unwavering commitment to meet customer demand and provide the best total value in the industry is once again evident.
