Meet Aidan Salvi of Amitron, SMT007 Columnist
September 14, 2023 | I-Connect007 Editorial TeamEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Meet Aidan Salvi, our newest SMT007 and Mil-Aero columnist. Aidan’s columns will focus on Factory 5.0, the transition of robots to cobots centering on cooperation between robots and humans, as well as state-of-the-art technologies in electronics manufacturing and printed circuit board design and production.
Aidan is the Chief Transformation Officer at Amitron, a leading U.S.-based manufacturers of printed circuit boards and provider of electronic manufacturing services. It has served the industry for more than 40 years.
“Electronics make America run," Salvi says. "From the phones in our pockets to the cars we drive, from the planes that soar the skies to the military hardware that protects us. Electronics make our lives safer, more secure, and more convenient. At the heart of electronics is the manufacturing of printed circuit boards. American manufacturing is on the rise. American manufacturers are effectively competing with overseas competitors. Supply chains are migrating back to America and investment in technology is increasing. Now American manufacturers must boldly face the future, including those in the printed circuit board sector. I look forward to connecting with industry thought leaders and subject matter experts in my new column for I-Connect007.”
As he transforms Amitron into a Factory 5.0 company, Aidan will share his expertise, experience and philosophy in his new column titled Facing the Future.
Read Facing the Future in next week’s Mil-Aero and SMT007 Week Newsletter.
Welcome Aidan!
