Molex Incorporated has been awarded a 2014 Total Cost of Ownership (TCOO) Supplier Award from Celestica, a global leader in the delivery of end-to-end product lifecycle solutions. Celestica's awards program recognizes suppliers that support Celestica's TCOO strategy and demonstrate excellence in quality, delivery, technology, service, pricing and flexibility.
"Molex is proud to be recognized by Celestica," said Carlos Santana, worldwide account manager, Molex. "The integrity and diligence of our global team contributed to Molex achieving the best overall TCOO score among more than 4,000 Celestica suppliers. We look forward to continued opportunities to create business value and strengthen our relationship with Celestica."
This marks the ninth year of Celestica’s TCOO Supplier Awards program, which evaluates and recognizes the top performers in Celestica’s global network of over 4,000 suppliers. Celestica's TCOO system is focused on evaluating supplier performance by measuring the total cost to produce, deliver and support products and services beyond the supplier invoice price. As such, it considers the following supplier attributes: quality, delivery, technology, service, pricing and flexibility.
"I am pleased to recognize Molex as the winner of this year's Best TCOO Score Award," said Paul Blom, Chief Procurement Officer, Celestica. "This is the sixth consecutive year that Molex has been recognized with a TCOO award and in 2014, Molex achieved exceptional scores across their TCOOscorecard earning them the best overall TCOO score among our suppliers."
