Speedprint Moves to Direct Sales and Customer Support in Germany
June 10, 2016 | Speedprint TechnologyEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Global stencil printing specialist Speedprint Technology is investing in new infrastructure, resources and personnel in Germany. Starting this month, the company will deliver direct sales and support to its customers in the country, and across other German-speaking regions. Speedprint is co-locating with its sister business unit, pick & place platform specialist Europlacer GmbH, in its new premises at Glauburg near Frankfurt.
The move to direct customer sales and support across German territories is part of a planned expansion program, which also features the restructuring of Europlacer’s operation in Italy. David Kammerer, General Manager of Europlacer GmbH, will take responsibility for heading a new team of sales, applications support and service staff dedicated to the Speedprint Technology product range and mandated to provide screen printing process expertise to the region.
“Sharing the available resources of our new Germany HQ makes complete sense for Speedprint,” says Kammerer. “As placement professionals, our in-house process expertise already extends upstream and downstream from pick & place applications, so adding specialist new talent in the screen printing discipline increases the value to customers in Germany and nearby regions.”
Speedprint’s new infrastructure includes dedicated product demonstration and training facilities at the company's Glauberg HQ. The premises will also act as a local spares hub. In addition, the Speedprint team will deliver product and process training programs.
