Enics Opens New Plant Extension in Elva

Enics has opened its new plant extension in Elva, Estonia. The company invested €5 million in the construction of the expansion and state of the art technology. Enics plans to continue investing in new equipment for the facility.
According to Jaanus Aal, Site Manager at Enics Elva, this is the fourth expansion in the facility's history. "We are growing and have significantly invested in new technology to respond to our customers' needs whose products are getting more and more demanding. Automation makes our work processes much more efficient, which is why I can confidently say that we are one of the top players in our field on the global scale," he adds.
With further implementation of high technology in the manufacturing, Enics will continue investing in the skills and knowledge of its employees. "We are set for growth, and therefore we will create additional jobs, especially for skilled electronics and manufacturing specialists. I believe that Enics Estonia's factory is a unique opportunity for engineers to see up close and utilize such high-level, cutting-edge technologies," says Aal.
Aal points out that cooperation with the local government and the community has been very successful. "We have been expanding our factory several times, and I am delighted that both the municipality of Elva, the local community, and our partners have been supportive of our activities," he says.
Enics Elva factory is mainly focusing on higher volume production for leadingindustrial electronics customers. With a workforce of around 650, tt is the biggest private employer in Southern Estonia.
