Libra Industries Appoints Senior Vice President of Operations
March 26, 2021 | Libra IndustriesEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Libra Industries, a privately-held systems integration and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, has announced the appointment of Jeff Swenson to Senior Vice President of Operations. Swenson will oversee global operations across all Libra Industries’ locations, reporting directly Jim Kircher, CEO.
Swenson has 25 years of experience in contract manufacturing. He began his career on the shop floor and progressed from there to hold various roles in test, planning, manufacturing, materials, business development and operations. Swenson has been directly responsible, at different points in his career, for manufacturing operations in the US, Mexico and Asia, at times managing up to six sizable locations, encompassing thousands of employees and billions of dollars of product builds.
Swenson has led the launch of multiple facilities. His background is extremely well suited to lead Libra operations through growth in the coming years.
Swenson’s responsibilities have required him to live around the world at times. He and his wife Janet (and their dogs Oliver and Bailey) will be moving to Dayton, OH in early March, moving from the Tampa, FL area. When not building manufacturing operations, Swenson is an avid golfer demonstrating his perseverance in the face of adversity through his consistently high handicap.
Libra Industries continues to invest to provide customized manufacturing solutions to help make its customers more competitive and improve their profitability.
