Green Circuits Expands Cleaning Capability with New Typhoon T-8 Inline Cleaner from Austin American Technology
March 2, 2026 | Green CircuitsEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Green Circuits, a full-service Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partner to leading OEMs, has installed a new Typhoon T-8 Chemistry Zero-Discharge Inline Cleaner from Austin American Technology (AAT), adding advanced chemistry-based cleaning capability to support increasingly stringent cleanliness requirements across its production programs.
The Typhoon T-8 is designed to effectively remove No-Clean, RMA, and water-soluble (OA) flux residues while maintaining high throughput and process consistency. The system incorporates an adjustable chemical injection pump to help maintain precise wash chemistry concentration, along with a dynamic air blow-off design that enables water-free chemical isolation within the cleaning process.
“The T-8 gives us greater control over the cleaning process while keeping efficiency high,” said Michael W. Hinshaw Jr., CEO of Green Circuits. “As customer requirements continue to tighten, investments like this help ensure we’re meeting performance expectations today and staying ready for what’s next.”
Powered by a 15 HP wash pump and AAT’s proprietary nozzle configurations, the T-8 delivers the controlled flooding and impingement required to fully solubilize flux residues from printed circuit board assemblies. The result is a repeatable, efficient cleaning process well suited for today’s evolving reliability and cleanliness standards.
Green Circuits provides end-to-end electronics manufacturing services, including design support, PCB fabrication, assembly, testing, and box build. The company supports both prototype and full-scale production programs for customers in aerospace and defense, medical and health technology, industrial electronics, and semiconductor and AI hardware markets.
Green Circuits continues to expand quick-turn capacity, investing in advanced manufacturing technologies, and maintaining the flexibility that has defined the company since its early days.
