SMART Group Lines Up Speakers for 25th Anniversary Seminar

OXFORD, U.K. The line-up of speakers for the SMART Group 25th Anniversary Seminar has been announced, with keynotes in the morning and a choice of three sessions in the afternoon. The event will take place at the Oxfordshire Golf Club, October 22.
After an introduction by Chairman Keith Bryant, Doug Pauls and Dave Hillman from Rockwell Collins in the U.S. will present a morning session titled "Manufacturing Wrong: Case Studies in Non Conformance."
After the presentation of SMART Group Fellow Awards by Peter Swanson, Honorary Vice President, the afternoon offers a wide choice of separate subjects on Reliability, Environmental Concerns, and a Business Session.
The reliability session will feature Dr Chris Hunt, NPL; Nathan Barry, Rolls Royce/Goodrich; and Russell Shipton, ERA.
The environmental session speakers are Nigel Burtt, Enjaybee; Marion Quarington, MTL; and Mike Fenner, Indium.
The business session will cover "The Role of an Independent EMS Company in the UK, with observations from the USA" presented by Peter Barnwell, chairman of Custom Interconnect. Mark Hutton, BPA will present "Market and Technology Trends in the PCB Industry."
