Technology Forecasters Inc. Expands in Asia
June 24, 2009 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
ALAMEDA, CA Technology Forecasters Inc. (TFI) announces its expansion into Asia and the successful completion of its first year in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. TFI provides strategic consulting services in the areas of electronics manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics; conducts corporate customer-satisfaction research; and helps companies design and implement profitable environmental strategies.
Clients in TFI's international sectors include Tellabs and Elcoteq in Finland, SAP in Germany, Canon Communications and BERR in the UK, Nistec and ILTAM in Israel, Assembléon in The Netherlands, and more.
In time for TFI's 22nd anniversary serving electronics contract manufacturers, electronic product companies, and suppliers, TFI president Pamela J. Gordon, who has spent the past year in the EMEA region, will return to TFI's headquarters in CA. Bolstered by additional EMEA clients and contacts, TFI consultants with specialties in outsourcing best practices, supply chain strategy, logistics and fulfillment, and environmental sustainability are applying the newly gained insights and connections to their projects in North America, Asia, and Europe.
The next region of focus for TFI's international expansion is Asia. TFI will be giving a Design-for-environment Workshop in China in the fall and provide consulting services for executives at electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and original design manufacturers (ODM) companies about business strategies in preparation for upcoming market shifts.
Gordon wishes to congratulate Kathleen Geraghty and Douglas Kent on completing the transition from TFI's Quarterly Forum to InForum for the Electronics Industry. Geraghty and Kent acquired from TFI the Quarterly Forum for Electronics Manufacturing Outsourcing and Supply Chain in August 2008, freeing up TFI to focus on consulting to global clients in manufacturing strategies, supplier management, customer satisfaction, market expansion, and environmental leadership.
