May 19, 2008 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
INDIANAPOLIS EMS provider for high-end commercial and military OEMs Global Innovation Corp. chose Cimnet Systems to provide ERP solutions to optimize its engineering operations. Global Innovation was faced with increasing customer pressures to deliver high-quality, high-tech, and low-cost products within the shortest possible cycle times. The company's criteria for ERP included faster input and timely information, improved operational efficiencies, and continuous technology improvements. The EMS provider selected a Cimnet Systems solution from Consona ERP due to Cimnet's specialization in the PCB industry.Global Innovation plans to implement several Cimnet Systems solutions in three phases. Phase 1 will focus on the finance and job costing modules within Paradigm, Cimnet Systems' core ERP solution. Phase 2 will roll out the more advanced modules of Paradigm, including capacity requirement planning (CRP) and statistical process control (SPC) solutions. Phase 3 will center on the company's implementation of iQuote, an intelligent, Web-based solution that automates the quoting process, and Engenix, a pre-production engineering application. For more information, visit www.gicpcb.com and www.cim-sys.com.
