Henkel Nabs Prime Source Awards

IRVINE, Calif. The electronics and industrial groups of Henkel have been awarded "Prime Source Awards" from electronics distributor EIS (Atlanta, Ga.) The award ceremony included Jim Sharp, electronics group southeastern territory manager, Henkel; Ken Helfers, industrial group distribution account executive; and Bob Thomas, president and CEO, EIS.Henkel and EIS have been supplier-distributor partners since 1989, with EIS representing Henkel's advanced assembly and semiconductor materials, industrial adhesives, sealants, and assembly equipment throughout North America. EIS launched the Prime Source Award program in 2007. Eligibility for the program is predicated on exceeding annual sales of $1,000,000 of the supplier's products. Award criteria include achieving sales revenue growth of at least 7%, a total profitability index improvement of at least 10 points over the previous year, and positive results from a sales and customer development field survey of EIS sales and management personnel. Henkel won two awards from EIS. Over 50 EIS suppliers were eligible for the 2007 Prime Source Awards. Fourteen, including Henkel, were honored as the first winners of this awards contest.
