DEK Plans Ceremonious Shenzhen Opening
August 2, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
WEYMOUTH, U.K. DEK will host SMTA members, customers, suppliers, and local government representatives at a grand opening for its Shenzhen, China, manufacturing facility on August 27, 2007. The facility will expand the company's production capacity for entry-level and medium-range printer platforms, and support for Asia-Pacific customers.
CEO John Hartner will host guests at the ceremony, which coincides with Nepcon South China, August 2831 in Shenzhen. The manufacturing and product support investment improves DEK's capabilities in critical regions like China, said Hartner. DEK expects entry- to mid-range printers to account for 50% of total global production in 2007.
