Lead-free Solder Wire Incorporates Polymers

LONDONDERRY, N.H. Cobar Solder Products, a subsidiary of Cobar Group, will offer CobarCore lead-free cored wire solder for lead-free assembly applications.
The cored wire solder uses synthetic polymer technology, which is said to improve wetting and yield bright solder joints with clear, non-corrosive residues. Available in various sizes and with a range of flux-content levels, the product is RoHS- and WEEE-compliant.
