PennWell Launches Online Job Service

TULSA, Okla. PennWell Corporation will operate PennTechJOBS, an online employment service meeting the recruitment needs of engineers in electronics, optoelectronics, nanotechnology, semiconductors, and other high-tech industries.
The site will launch with an initial 2,000 domestic and international job postings from more than 25 employers, including Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Arrow Electronics, Juki Automation, Boeing, NanoDynamics, Texas Instruments (TI), and others. "PennTechJOBS is positioned to attract qualified industry professionals in order to meet the most urgent requirements of industry employers that of finding qualified talent," said Robert F. Biolchini, PennWell president and CEO. He added that Pennwell's global presence of publications, conferences, Websites, and e-newsletters for high-tech industries will position PennTechJOBS for quality recruitment messaging to engineers in assembly, design, production, R&D, and quality control.
The employment service, which can be reached at www.penntechjobs.com, will integrate with PennWell technology websites, such as Advanced Packaging, SMT, Solid State Technology, Military & Aerospace Electronics, Small Times, and others. The service features advanced searching and matching capabilities, including location, languages spoken, security clearance, and other aspects. Personalized e-mail notification and confidential postings are offered. PennWell plans to launch more industry-specific job sites in the future.
