Valor Introduces Lifecycle Management Toolset
September 27, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Israel Valor Computerized Systems Ltd. announced vShare as a product life cycle management toolset that supports design for manufacture (DfM) collaboration between PCB design and engineering teams across global supply chains.
vShare is said to enhance communications capabilities in the electronics design and manufacturing process. The product provides a centralized, scalable platform with secure access to design and DfM information through product development. The workflow, including design changes, design reviews, and final manufacturing sign-off, is intuitively managed with the toolset.
Using standard internet browsers in a web-based environment, users import DfM results from Valor's tools, or attach third-party graphical or text objects. Issues can be filtered, grouped, and prioritized for collaboration. Reports generated document steps, project status, details, and final approvals. The toolset includes event monitoring and tracking features.
