De-soldering Pump Can Extend Tip Life
January 19, 2006 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
BARCELONA, Spain Driven by compressed air from a Venturi valve, the MS 9005 de-soldering pump from JBC Tools is said to provide a powerful vacuum for on-site air pressure systems.
The de-soldering pump works with the DD 5700 and DM 6700 soldering stations, allowing two or four tools to be used simultaneously. The modular system features an on-screen menu with password protection, independent temperature settings for each tool, and a sleep mode that can extend tip life. The system also features a hibernation mode, which lowers the tool to room temperature for further tip-life extension.
